Baruch College Growth Lab Phase 2 Fellowship Completed: Garvescope Paired with Christopher R. Meyer

Garvescope completes Growth Lab Phase 2 at Baruch College, partnering with Christopher R. Meyer to refine its business intelligence platform for SMBs and startup founders.

Austin, TX — February 19, 2026 — Garvescope today announced the successful completion of Growth Lab Phase 2 of the Baruch College Growth Lab incubator program, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued development as a business intelligence platform built for small and mid-sized businesses.

Phase 2 of the Growth Lab program centers on fellowship pairings, connecting founders with experienced mentors from the Baruch College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Zicklin School of Business. Through this structure, entrepreneurs receive targeted, high-touch guidance designed to accelerate market readiness, operational clarity, and long-term positioning.

Garvescope was paired with Christopher R. Meyer, whose mentorship provided strategic insight during a pivotal phase of product refinement and go-to-market preparation.

“This is one of the most ‘ready-for-customers’ businesses to come through Baruch Growth Labs and I’m excited to see what comes of Garvescope in the coming months.”
— Christopher R. Meyer

Growth Lab Phase 2: A Defining Stage of Readiness

During Phase 2, Garvescope focused on strengthening its positioning as an accessible business intelligence solution for founders and operators who cannot justify enterprise-level analytics platforms but still need clarity in their decision-making.

The fellowship provided structured accountability, strategic review, and practical advisory support as the company sharpened its product roadmap, messaging, and early customer acquisition strategy.

Ben Garves, Founder and CEO of Garvescope, reflected on the experience:

“Inclusion in Baruch Growth Lab, in partnership with the Small Business Development Council, has been one of the greatest honors. Garvescope now stands uniquely positioned to help hundreds of thousands of small business owners and startup founders around the world because of what we’ve developed here in the Zicklin School of Business and under the great tutelage of Christopher Meyer.”
— Ben Garves, Founder & CEO, Garvescope

About Baruch Growth Lab Phase 2

The Baruch College Growth Lab is a free, three-phase program supporting New York City entrepreneurs over a nine-month period. The program provides structured workshops, one-on-one mentorship, and project-based student consulting. Participants receive hands-on guidance in areas including business planning, marketing strategy, legal structure, financial modeling, and partnerships.

By combining practical execution support with academic and advisory expertise, the Growth Lab helps founders transition from concept validation to operational momentum.

Looking Ahead

While Garvescope was invited to participate in Phase 3 of the Growth Lab, the company was unable to meet the on-campus engagement requirements with Baruch/Zicklin students at this stage of growth. The team remains deeply appreciative of the opportunity and the partnership developed during Phases 1 and 2.

With Phase 2 now complete, Garvescope turns its full attention toward product adoption and traction among small business owners and startup founders seeking clarity in their decision-making. The company’s next chapter centers on expanding access to its business intelligence tools and building a strong base of early customers who are ready to replace guesswork with structured insight.
